Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 6:00 p.m., this seminar will take place by Fransesc Bailon Trueba, graduate in Cultural Anthropology from the UB. The Caral-Supe culture, which developed about 5,000 years ago, is currently considered the oldest civilization in America. It is one of the most famous “mother cultures” of the Andean area. Its engineering works, its scientific development and its political, social and religious organization served as a legacy for other pre-Columbian cultures that followed. On Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 6 p.m., the AEUR has organized the conference “The participation of older people in the development of communities: utopia or challenge?” By Mercedes Pérez Salanova, doctor in Psychology from the UAB specializing in aging and researcher at the Institute of Government and Policies of the same university. She will explain to us the different ways of understanding aging. Finally, the latest children's story published by the Vallhonrat Foundation “L’avi Quim” will be presented.
